The bird in the sand window on the left appeared to us in the early 1990s. A sand window consists of two pieces of glass held together by a frame. Colored sand is placed between the two pieces of glass. You tip it and turn it to create swirling patterns. Creating an image like this intentionally would be impossible. It looks like the mythological phoenix to me. It has been very influential in my life.
I pick-up on (hear the thoughts and feel the emotions) of others. Others pick-up on (hear my thoughts and feel my emotions) me. Telepathy is not what most people think. It is not "that person is sending a thought to me". Rather, it is the transfer of energy from one individual to another, usually without the knowledge of either being aware that it is happening. For the person receiving the energy, it can have very detrimental effects because the incoming energy is capable of pushing aside the person's own energy. The incoming energy can feed on the recipient, creating channels leading to a "psychic vampire". Recognizing and blocking the channel can cause a depletion of energy in the recipient until their own natural energy is able to take over once more.
The image on the left above is the Lady. She is my mentor and guide. I see her hands occasionally. They are the color of tarnished silver. She has helped me cope with my telepathy. Lorne, above right, is my alter ego. I spent a goodly part of my life looking for Lorne. I finally found her when I wrote a book, The Bird in the Sand Window ( available on Amazon ), about my experiences in the psychic world.
Author's Note: The Lady and the Dragon, which is heavily referenced in The Bird in the Sand Window, is no longer available for purchase.
